Forage Oats
Everleaf 126:
- A true spring forage oat, with leaves that extend above the canopy at heading.
- Everleaf 126 is a delayed heading oat. Since it is a vegetative longer the plant accumulation of biomass is extraordinary.
- At boot stage, it is the highest in crude protein and in percent digestible fiber.
- 126 is rust resistant, but susceptible to Barley Yellow Dwarf virus. A seed treat insecticide can be beneficial to combat this problem if it is a issue in your area.
- The wider leaves and strong stooling capacity of these oats gives a much better leaf to stem ratio resulting in a higher quality forage.
