Cover Crops
Graza:
- Short term pasture, annual or cover crop.
- Smooth leaved, low crowned, and late flowering forage brassica.
- Requires minimal ripening (50 days or 6 - 8 weeks)
- Can be utilized as a pure stand or in mixes with brassicas or pasture herbs in grazing systems.
PCS 211:
- Brassicas create large amounts of biomass in the short windows between crops. These plants develop an aggressive root system to improve both water and nutrient cycles.
- PGGSEEDS and Prairie Creek have combined selected brassicas for cover crop application. These mixtures may be sown in spring or fall, to fit rotation cycles.
- A smother effect reduces weed competition. Taproots promote water percolation and nutrient cycling.
- The Glucosinolate profile of brassicas generate a biofumigant effect for suppression of plant pathogens and diseases
Grouse Chicory:
- Perennial
- Quick Summer & Fall Regrowth
- Strongly cool-season active
- 4 - 6 Week Maturity

- Supports high clover content.
Tonic Plantain:

- Spring planted Tonic Plantain will give a pasture the cool season bulk you need for quality grazing through Summer and Fall.
